Ground station

Earth Station is an application created by us, using the Xojo program.

The data sent by the CanSat radio will be received through the Yagi antenna and will be passed through a serial port to the running application.

The application, by means of various functions written in the Xojo programming language, will be able to differentiate each data received (eg nuclear radiation, CO2 and VOC, atmospheric pressure, temperature, etc.) and will convert each type of data into different graphs, which will be displayed in real time. The data will be updated every second, and so will the graphs.

The ground station is also used to remote control the CanSat: the coordinates of the landing point will be entered via the ground station and the activation of both the CanSat and the landing system (buzzer).
